For some reason today I keep on running into the sweetness of our God. He is reminding me of His tender and gentle heart. It is so easy to lose track of this..we all have a form of spiritual amnesia..we forget His goodness. A picture, song, or even a flower can remind me that He is the giver of all good things. He gives us more than we need..more than we imagine.. more of everything that is good and right for us.
It is hard to believe when times are tough.. or when we have been waiting and waiting. Looking back we see that it is true..He never forgets us..He always rescues us and He continues to hold out His hands to us. We may be sad, discouraged, or beaten down.. all normal human emotions..He does not change. He goodness is not altered by our weakness. His faithfulness is not threatened by our unbelief. How reassuring!
Do you feel His gentle touch on your heart? His sweet spirit breathing new life into your soul? Are you listening for the sweet song that He is singing to you? Turn towards Him and He will fill you with His refreshing presence.
