About

Alicia

One of my passions in life is to see people receive healing and restoration so they can enter into a rich and abundant life.  My blog is an extension of this passion.. a place to share the things that help me get through the hard times as well as a place where you are constantly reminded of God’s amazing love for you. He is the creator of all good gifts and I hope Alicia’s Roses is a gift to every reader.

A little more info.. I am married to my closest friend, I have the most amazing daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. My life has been difficult and I have lived through some very hard seasons.. filled with loss and disappointment. My journey with God has been unfolding for over 40 years …it continues to get richer and deeper every day. He is truly the “lover of my soul.”

This blog is another way to bring the truth that He is sovereign over everything and that His ways are worth pursuing. He has taken me down paths that I would never choose for myself.. but each one has made me who I am today. Don’t give up.. don’t grow weary.. keep trusting!

I graduated from Golden Gate Seminary with a Master of Theological Studies in 2006. God opened doors for me to establish a counseling practice in Marin County, CA eleven years ago. My clients are women of all ages and stages of life.. I am thankful to have a role in their lives.

  2. Hi Alicia,

Thank you so much for giving me the link to your blog. It’s no accident, I’m sure. God is an amazing director of our lives.

I love this, “He is the redeemer.. life here is worth living fully and any risks we take with God will lead us closer to His heart.”

I’m looking forward to reading more of what God has blessed you with.

    Many blessings to you,
    Sarah

  3. Thanks Alicia!
It has been nice getting to know you in the Hebrews study. Your writings are filled with wisdom that only a seasoned follower of Christ can know. And the photos are simply beautiful! I can smell the sweet aroma of roses in each one.

I will forward your blog along to special women friends for extra encouragement and hope and to remind them of the victories already won that we cannot yet see.

Bless you my Sister and friend,
    Kathi
