Falling into His arms

Lately I have been doing this..just falling into the arms of God. Life hands us challenges that we never expected..we can’t handle it alone. The best thing about God’s arms is that they are always there..waiting to catch us. He is never tired and worn out..like we are. His strength is unlimited and His desire to bring comfort and encouragement to us is not based on His feelings. Falling apart is not considered OK in our culture..we feel like we are supposed to have it all together. The truth is we don’t..none of us. We struggle, complain, hurt, fail, feel like quitting, have fears, get angry, and feel disappointment. Did I miss something?..just add it to the list. We are far from perfect.

The good news is that we don’t need to have all the anwers..in fact we really don’t need to have any answers. We have a God that has it all under control.. the future is in His hands and it is good. He waits for us to realize our need for Him. He is ready to meet us in every trial. His heart goes out to us as we face uncertainty and doubt. His love flows from the throne of grace.

Our part? We turn our lives over to Him. We trust Him..follow Him..take risks with Him..realize that He is the center of our universe. His part? He is our Jehovah Jireh..providing every single thing we need in every circumstance.. at all times. He is for us and He is with us.

” Keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”
